Biography

Kraetor and the Tower of Babylon

Xavier refuses to embrace the family legacy despite being told it is his birthright. His hatred of the practice drives him into open rebellion and a feud that divides the Floor of Partings. During the crisis, protectors drag him away from a berserk Giantess, preserving him for a succession ceremony the Old Patriarch orders all senior family members to witness. The evidence establishes moral refusal, conflict, rescue, and succession, but not the later reforms he enacts. (Chapters 581, 586, 589, and 591)
