Theo

Theo is William's childhood friend and a shepherd's apprentice from Lont. The sparse record keeps him close to home and family rather than assigning a major campaign.

Biography

William's fellow apprentice

Theo grows up as the son of Marcus, Lont's most senior shepherd, and trains beside William when both boys have few duties beyond tending their own goats and sheep. Their similar ages help them become friends before William leaves for wider adventures. Much later, records still define Theo through Lont and Marcus, and during the final conflict Matthew calls out strongly enough to make Theo turn toward him. No named battle action, class advancement, marriage, or departure from shepherd life is established. (Chapters 16, 25, 1290, 1452)
