Blessing the defender of humanity

Tarasque's name first appears as that of an extraordinary being whose full significance is clarified later. William's assessment places Tarasque and Leviathan above ordinary Demigods: when fully unsealed, both can become Peak Pseudo-Gods, and only these two fit the titles Overlord of Land and Overlord of Sea. Tarasque later joins Leviathan in blessing Takam. That blessing raises Takam to Pseudo-God level, enabling him to hover between hellish monsters and human armies and shield the latter during the final invasion. (Chapters 732, 1257, 1266, 1451)
