Biography

A forest guardian under equal contract

Spire meets William as one of the Enchanted Forest's powerful guardians and accepts an equal contract rather than subordination. That bond lets him answer William through the King's Divinity and places him temporarily among the herd. Spire lends his strength during the Dungeon Outbreak and returns in the later war, where a Qilin injures him. He survives to recover, and the Spire Horn Haven preserves his name even though the selected evidence does not document his later movements. (Chapters 135, 146, 169, 492, and 504)

Appearance and personality

Spire is a Guardian Deer. He is proud enough to require an equal contract, yet cooperative once terms are settled and willing to fight beside William's companions. (Chapters 135 and 146)
