Biography

Messenger and guardian across continents

Skyla carries monthly reports and maintains communication with Arwen while distance and conflict separate their allies. Her knowledge of the Elven clans makes her more than a courier, and she watches over Arwen from the World Tree and sacred grove. William trusts Skyla enough to ask her to protect his mother. Though normally gentle, the narrative warns that threatening someone she loves can make the White Crane exceptionally dangerous. (Chapters 56, 310, 438, 575, 684, and 1417)
