Polox

Polox is the Patriarch of the One-Horned Clan, a minor Demon Clan that survives annexation by accepting William's protection. (Chapters 987, 991, and 1021)

Biography

The Holy Order and the Underworld

Polox tells William that the One-Horned Clan has no complaint about its accommodations and is fully satisfied with the refuge provided. William then seeks help from Anh, Polox's granddaughter, while visiting the clan. These scenes show Polox maintaining a cooperative vassal relationship after the clan's rescue; the evidence does not assign him an independent campaign in this phase, but later records his pledge that the Demon Tribes support William's endeavor. (Chapters 1101, 1109, and 1331)
