Paula

Paula is one of Belle's closest friends on Earth. Curious about Belle's relationship with William, she and Hana repeatedly observe the pair and act as protective companions. (Chapters 896–904)

Biography

Curiosity turned protective vigilance

Paula joins Hana in following William and Belle, initially treating their observation like amateur detective work. Her concern becomes more practical when she sends Belle a video warning her about men at the university, then accompanies further surveillance from a helicopter and watches William carry Belle to safety. Years later, Paula remains part of the family circle, warmly greeting Stella before she and Hana turn their attention to Elliot. (Chapters 898, 901, 904, 919, 936, 1466, and 1467)
