Orryn

Orryn is the second-oldest son of the Rhanes Clan and one of four candidates to inherit its leadership. (Chapters 1016 and 1025)

Biography

The Demon Continent and the Heir of Darkness

Orryn approaches the confrontation with William under pressure from aides who resent the visitor's disrespect. When he finally faces William, his weaker will gives way completely: he collapses, loses control of his bladder, and remains horrified with the other heir candidates. The encounter humiliates Orryn and demonstrates his inability to withstand William's pressure, but the evidence does not record punishment, disinheritance, recovery, or a later change in courage. (Chapters 1018, 1020, and 1025)

Appearance and personality

Orryn is a sharp-eyed man in his mid-twenties. He is explicitly weaker-willed than his brother and becomes physically overwhelmed by fear. (Chapters 1018 and 1020)

Skills, classes, and divinities

The brief establishes Orryn's candidacy for clan succession but gives no class, rank, combat technique, weapon, or divinity. His response to William exposes a severe psychological limit. (Chapters 1020 and 1025)

Relationships

  • William: The threatening visitor whose presence breaks Orryn's composure. (Chapters 1020 and 1025)
  • Walric, Hector, and Horace: Fellow Rhanes Clan heir candidates. (Chapter 1025)
