Nero
Nero is a feline imperial protector of the Kraetor Empire who combines strategic judgment with forceful close combat. (Chapters 461, 499, and 507)
Biography
Kraetor and the Tower of Babylon
Nero argues that victory without losing soldiers is valid strategy and observes that the Elves' bombardment is steadily consuming their magic. He later blocks Prince Jason's path, refusing to let the angry prince punish people who acted voluntarily. Between those decisions, Nero joins other protectors in pinning and beating a Qilin. The evidence shows tactical awareness and protective restraint, but does not define his authority over the prince or his full battlefield command. (Chapters 499, 507, and 509)
Appearance and personality
Nero is described dismissively as a little cat, while a light-blue-haired teenage form appears in his vicinity; the excerpts do not clearly establish whether both descriptions are the same form. He is confident, analytical, and firm. (Chapters 461 and 466)
Skills, classes, and divinities
Nero can strike a Qilin hard enough to send blood and teeth flying and then help pin it. His rank, transformation mechanics, and named techniques are unstated. (Chapter 507)
Relationships
- Prince Jason: Nero physically bars him from venting his anger. (Chapter 509)
- Eneru: Rival who mocks Nero's stature and confidence. (Chapter 461)
