Miriam

Miriam is an elder of the Misty Sect who gathers intelligence, oversees disciples, and later helps respond to corruption in the sect's domain. (Chapters 209, 665, and 693)

Biography

The Southern Continental War

Miriam confronts William after a Misty Sect disciple violates the Hellan Kingdom's rules, but William rejects her sect's intimidation and leaves her reason to hesitate before challenging him again. The selected arc references her retaliation indirectly through a plan to give a disciple the sect's best facilities so that the disciple can surpass William. This establishes institutional rivalry rather than a personal battle, and the excerpt does not show Miriam carrying out the threat. (Chapters 209, 211, and 215)

Appearance and personality

Miriam is called an old woman in William's hostile perspective, but no neutral physical description is supplied. She can be confrontational and later visibly anxious during a sect crisis. (Chapters 211 and 705)

Skills, classes, and divinities

As an elder, Miriam helps direct sect resources and can be ordered to deploy Executors. Her personal rank, techniques, and limits are not established. (Chapters 215 and 693)

Relationships

  • William: Political adversary whom Miriam later briefs her sect about. (Chapters 209, 211, and 665)
  • Thea: Sect Master who orders Miriam to mobilize Executors. (Chapter 693)
