Biography

Camelot's strongest knight challenged

Lancelot first appears assessing an aspiring knight alongside Gawain, establishing his place among Camelot's senior warriors. William then openly challenges him as the strongest knight of the kingdom. Their exchange leaves Lancelot wounded and unconscious after William unlocks his wooden staff's true form and splits Merlin's domain. The plain sword used in that battle remains part of William's later arsenal, but the selected evidence does not document Lancelot's recovery or subsequent actions.
