Herman is a loyal household retainer entrusted with Est's safety and travel.

Biography

A guardian immobilized with the household

Est's mother explicitly leaves her child in Herman and Nana's care, ordering them to ensure a safe return from the mission. Herman later helps prepare the carriage, fulfilling the practical escort role attached to that trust. During the Southern war, however, the crystal spell strikes Est's household: Herman, Nana, and the maids guarding Est's mother are petrified. Est and Isaac then help move their statues to a flying carriage, preserving them rather than abandoning their incapacitated protectors. The brief gives no personal recovery scene.
