Fenrir

Fenrir is the Trollhound leader who swears allegiance to William and commands the pack within William's Legion. He is distinct from the mythological World Wolf of the same name mentioned in accounts of Asgard. (Chapters 220, 294, 670, and 859)

Biography

Sworn pack leader

William raises and names Fenrir while integrating the Trollhounds into his growing forces. Unlike tamed beasts, Fenrir and the pack freely swear allegiance and become members of the herd. Fenrir leads them in the front line against Hobgoblins, where their regeneration lets them rise after repeated hacking, and later commands Trollhound cavalry on William's flank. His status among the commanders remains distinct enough that William excludes him when assigning ordinary Trollhounds as mounts. Later he rallies legion troops and is trusted to guard Medusa during a revenge-driven operation. (Chapters 220, 294, 401, 417, 489, 859, and 1246)

Fenrir is a Trollhound and a natural pack leader. He is aggressive toward enemies, loyal by choice, and experienced enough to organize troops for large-scale war. (Chapters 220, 294, and 859)

Fenrir has strong regeneration and leads coordinated Trollhound assaults. The brief gives no exact rank, named attack, regeneration ceiling, or class. References to divine shackles and Odin's death concern the separate World Wolf. (Chapters 401, 670, 809, and 1184)
