Ezio

Ezio is James's long-serving intelligence operative and the teacher of agents working against Deus. His selected actions center on information gathering, coded communication, and obedience to command.

Biography

Eyes on Deus and the Elven occupation

Ezio works quietly around James before taking a more visible role during reconstruction and the Elven conflict. He instructs Brendan to gather every useful piece of information from Deus, infiltrates the area around the Zelan capital, and writes a coded message on his wrist for transmission to his two disciples. When James summons him during the tournament period, Ezio responds as a trusted subordinate. Later Helen asks what he will do next, but the brief does not preserve his answer or establish another independent mission. (Chapters 62, 431, 470, 638, 763)
