Dickie

Dickie is an Adamantium-ranked mercenary leader paid to monitor Chiffon's treatment at Silverwind Academy. His attempt to intimidate the academy ends with William forcing him into service. (Chapters 547–550 and 557)

Biography

From hired tormentor to coerced informant

Dickie threatens Headmaster Gilbert after his group is defeated, then bargains away an ancient scroll and promises to report that Chiffon remains miserable. Although he restrains his angrier subordinates, he still joins their fight against William and is captured. Under interrogation, Dickie admits that Duke Piers Ryder pays them to visit twice monthly and make Chiffon suffer if she is not already suffering. William binds the mercenaries with a curse, orders a map of the Demon Continent, and turns Dickie's future reports into controlled misinformation. (Chapters 547–550 and 557)
