Carrying the Hellan party through danger

Dave first responds when Conrad orders an immediate retreat to a safe location. During the Elven invasion he remains with Est, Isaac, Conrad, Crown Prince Alaric, Aila, and Sharx while they watch the cavern perimeter. William later orders Dave and Lionheart to rest before continuing a long flight, showing that Dave's transport is valuable but physically limited by fatigue.
