Cid

Cid is one of James's disciples and a swordsman who fights beside Aerith before joining the final barrier assault.

Biography

A disciple on two battlefronts

James calls Cid directly among the companions gathered around him, establishing a subordinate or disciple relationship. During the Southern Continental War, Cid and Aerith fight side by side and cut down enemies with their swords, contributing to the defense without receiving an independent duel. Much later, Ajax addresses him as El Cid and leaves the Six-Eared Macaque to Cid and Godfrey while Ajax pursues William through a breached barrier. The sparse evidence establishes continued frontline trust but not the result of that assigned fight. (Chapters 192, 321, 1335)
