Cernunnos

Cernunnos is a volatile divine being associated with the Whimsical Forest and a dangerous early encounter with William. (Chapters 387–389 and 674)

Biography

Kraetor and the Tower of Babylon

William's near-death experience with Cernunnos shapes his caution in enemy territory: after Cernunnos trespassed into his domain without permission, William becomes determined not to repeat the same vulnerability. He later removes a torc Cernunnos gave him during a Centaur Tribe visit and prepares for Aamon by assuming the worst based on Cernunnos's erratic precedent. The arc records lasting consequences on William, but no new action by Cernunnos himself. (Chapters 464, 508, and 550)

Appearance and personality

The selected evidence gives no physical description. Cernunnos attacks before offering an explanation as compensation and is explicitly associated with extreme mood swings. (Chapters 389 and 510)
