Carter

Carter is a Royal Academy professor who secretly participates in a plan to abduct talented students for Zagarl's organization. (Chapters 145, 294, 602, 1150)

Biography

Kraetor and the Tower of Babylon

Carter's superior is identified as the architect of the student-abduction plan, making Carter one of the trusted subordinates sent to carry it out. The operation fails and two trusted agents die in the aftermath. Other testimony states that Carter used a corrupting spell against students while a witness deliberately refrained from stopping him. The evidence establishes Carter's complicity and the mission's failure, but does not identify him as one of the two dead agents or settle his later fate. (Chapters 294, 602)

Appearance and personality

Students call Carter dreamy, but the brief supplies no precise features. He isolates himself after the incident and later appears at a banquet, while his covert actions contradict his attractive public image. (Chapters 145, 280)

Skills, classes, and divinities

Carter uses a spell capable of corrupting consciousness. Its name, range, duration, and resistance conditions are not established. (Chapter 294)
