Brutus and Bruno enter the Royal Academy at eighteen only after failing its enrollment test for three consecutive years, demonstrating persistence rather than effortless talent. William later selects both twins for the private squad of the Angorian War Sovereign alongside Kenneth, Wendy, and Ian. On the Northern mission, the united aura of tribal warriors forces Brutus backward, revealing the gap between academy experience and veteran power. A Witch Doctor later attacks Brutus and the exploration group in secret, but the brief records no lasting consequence or individual counterattack. (Chapters 150, 216, 245, 402)
