Bacon

Bacon is the golden piglet who becomes Chiffon's cherished companion and a member of William's wider traveling group. The earliest name match is ordinary food; the piglet himself is introduced much later. (Chapters 87 and 649)

Biography

A small but formidable companion

Bacon joins the group as its newest member and is placed beside Sharur, whom Chiffon tells to look after him. The piglet quickly settles into the household, greeting William with a kiss, resting on Chiffon's lap, and traveling in her arms. His harmless appearance is misleading: Melody and Shana have not managed to defeat him, and by the last great campaign Bacon—identified in context with Gullinbursti—actively demands a place in the action.
