Athrun

Biography

Merchant prince amid the Demon Realm crisis

Athrun greets William as an elder brother and soon travels with Kira and Vesta as a recognized guest and council participant. When William prepares to attack the Gremory capital, he asks Athrun not to join so that the Sky Clan will not be implicated. Athrun later accepts that his clan's political ties will prevent it from abandoning the Demon Lord, but he still asks William to shelter his merchant-guild members from the approaching conflict. In the later war, he takes the field beside William's demi-human herd. (Chapters 975, 988, 1003–1041, 1100, and 1246)
