Albert Antstein is the Full Kettle Alchemist and William's Fifth Master.

Biography

The master who could not cross distance instantly

Albert returns during the Holy Order period specifically to inspect his disciple, casually drinking mead while noting how much William has changed. William later seeks his Fifth Master, confirming a continuing instructional bond even when other obligations intervene. When William needs transport to the Elun Empire, however, Albert remains in the Central Continent and lacks any ability to cross the distance instantaneously. His limitations force the group to seek other solutions. He survives long enough to admire the unprecedented unity of the world's armies. (Chapters 516, 1102–1111, 1260, 1434)
