Abby

Abby is a young vampire who approaches Minny as a newcomer to the settlement and becomes her first school friend. Although Tobi injures her to provoke Minny, Abby later argues that he should receive another chance and helps turn the three children into a stable group. Her blood-aura training favours precision over power, while her caution repeatedly helps the more impulsive children survive attacks on their school and settlement. Biography

Becoming Minny's first friend

Abby has only recently moved to the settlement and knows nobody at school when she shyly offers Minny a blood-juice drink. Her willingness to sit with another isolated child gives Minny a friendship not based on her father's position or strength. Abby is curious about Minny's fighting ability but does not pressure her to demonstrate it, establishing the contrast between her approach and Tobi's demand for hierarchy. (Chapters 2015–2017)

Tobi exploits that vulnerability by grabbing Abby's pigtails and punching her until Minny fights him. Abby is frightened and injured, but she returns to Minny rather than blaming her for attracting the conflict. When Tobi later apologises, Abby is the one who suggests giving him a chance. Her compassion helps create the circumstances in which his coached apology can eventually become a real friendship. (Chapters 2018–2029)

The ambush and the repaired friendship

Minny teaches Abby and Tobi the first steps of blood-aura control, but all three are still children when a beast attacks their class. Abby's fear limits her response, and Minny again becomes the protector. The experience strengthens Abby's admiration without making her reckless; she recognises the gap between their abilities and continues learning rather than imitating Minny's risks. Sonia Toppy's later plan targets Abby as well as Minny because Abby's researcher father accompanies them into the arranged alley. Tobi's participation initially feels like a second betrayal after his assault, but his warning helps the group survive. Abby remains hurt by what he did, then accepts him back after the truth is explained and the adults intervene. At the school assessment she supports both friends from the side, and after six months the three again operate as a comfortable group. (Chapters 2048–2055 and 2062–2072)

Precision training and repeated crises

When Minny returns years later, Abby treats the reunion as the return of her first friend. Her own training has advanced: during a test she sends one narrow line of blood aura across a doll's neck. The attack has less force than Tobi's crossed swipes but markedly better control, and both children are judged exceptional for their age. Abby nevertheless remains more interested in sound decisions than in proving herself. (Chapters 2305–2317 and 2425)

That judgment becomes important during the school competition and subsequent attack. Abby warns against becoming arrogant over honour points, and when Tobi wants to remain with Minny, she pulls him to safety because their presence would force the stronger child to divide her attention. During the later assault on the settlement Abby is openly frightened and cries with the other students, but she remains alive when last shown. Her arc ends with ability and courage still developing rather than with evidence that she has become an adult combatant. (Chapters 2446–2453 and 2523)

Appearance and personality

Abby is a young vampire girl whose hair is worn in braids or pigtails during her first school appearances. The corpus provides no stable description of her clothing or other features. She is shy with strangers, generous once she approaches them, and unusually forgiving: she returns to Minny after being hurt and advocates a chance for Tobi. Later scenes preserve that kindness while adding practical caution. Abby recognises when a stronger friend needs space to fight and acts decisively even when Tobi would rather stay. Young-vampire physiology

Abby has the enhanced baseline senses, physical potential, fangs, and healing associated with a vampire child. Her appearances do not establish a family-specific inherited ability, a transformation, or adult-level combat experience. Tobi can physically overpower her early in the story, and later attacks still frighten her, so her vampire nature should not be read as evidence that she can contend with the settlement's adult enemies. Blood-aura precision

Abby begins learning to summon blood aura under Minny's informal instruction. By the later school assessment she can release a thin, accurately placed line that cuts across a training doll's neck. Observers contrast her fine control with Tobi's greater force, making precision her only clearly demonstrated specialty.
