Biography

Fallen Immortal Realm Soap Opera

Song Yang first encounters Xu Ke while carrying a two-headed black snake and mocks the younger disciple's attachment to an apparently weak companion bird. As the Imperial Beast Sect falls into chaos, envy becomes opportunity: Song tries to seize the bird he believes should belong to him, forcing Xu Ke to flee. He later returns when the bird matures, but its aura suppresses his snake. Refusing to abandon the prize, Song spends heavily to borrow a Golden Core Ink Immortal Tiger for another capture attempt; the Heavenly Fate bird defeats and consumes that beast. In a later reconstruction, altered fortune turns Song's own snake against him, ending the pursuit through the relationship he had relied on as a weapon. Appearance and personality

Song Yang is thin, gloomy-looking, and frequently accompanied by a black two-headed snake coiled around his neck. He is disdainful, envious, greedy, and persistent enough to escalate after failure. His willingness to attack during sect chaos and borrow a stronger beast shows opportunism rather than courage grounded in his own strength. (Chapters 318–320 and 450–452)

Abilities and cultivation

Beast-taming bond

Song directs the two-headed black snake as a companion beast and can coordinate ambushes with it. The bond does not guarantee control: Heavenly Fate manipulation eventually makes the snake lose control and devour him. (Chapters 318–320 and 1078)

Borrowed Ink Immortal Tiger

After his snake is suppressed, Song borrows a Golden Core Ink Immortal Tiger to overpower the Heavenly Fate bird. The beast's realm is equipment-like borrowed force rather than Song's own cultivation, and the bird consumes it. (Chapters 451–452)

Relationships

  • Xu Ke is Song Yang's fellow disciple and repeated target, whose companion he covets.
  • Xiao Hei is the sentient bird Song tries to capture; Li Fan's temporary possession of the bird does not make Song an enemy of a separate permanent Li Fan body in that realm.
