Situ Yao

Situ Yao is the wine-loving “eternal Senior Brother” of the Heavenly Sword Sect, renowned as the sect's strongest combatant despite avoiding routine administration.

Biography

Chapter 681

Situ Yao's overwhelming combat reputation draws so many challengers that the naturally lazy swordsman carves warnings into enormous stones at the sect entrance, preferring wine to repeated duels. When Mr Bai visits, Situ first pretends to be drunk before acknowledging that evasion will not work and meeting the encounter with his sword. Later Fallen Immortal Realm material reveals his deeper authority: although the formal sect-master title is treated as a reward for material contributions, real power rests with Situ. He organizes the sect's collective forging of a World-Rifting Divine Weapon and adjudicates the promised succession contest, turning personal supremacy into direction of a civilization-scale escape project. Appearance and personality

Situ Yao commonly appears wobbling as if drunk and searching for wine, but can straighten immediately when pretense is exposed. He is lazy, irreverent, and irritated by challengers, yet also confident enough to bear the sect's true authority and honor the contribution rules announced for the divine-weapon project. Sword Arrival

Situ Yao's signature sword method is a benchmark even elite Heavenly Sword Sect disciples recognize in later techniques. Its demonstrated force is immense, but the encounter with Mr Bai shows that power within ordinary cultivation remains insignificant before a superior, possibly immortal-level existence. Sword-intent inscriptions

He carves “Idlers, keep out” and “Challengers, lay down your swords” into sect-gate boulders after years of unwanted duels. The text emphasizes their intimidating sword authority but does not define a universal compulsion radius. (Chapter 681)
