Du Xingchang

Du Xingchang is a composed Martial Hall Golden Core who fights most effectively beside Jiang Zhengji, from local beast extermination to war against the Five Elders Association. (Chapters 186–189, 220, 246–247)

Biography

Nine Teams of the Martial Hall

Du Xingchang joins Jiang Zhengji in overseeing the Tiancang Team's cleansing of Wanlai Island, remaining calm when the headless beasts unsettle the lower-ranked cultivators. The two intervene when the beasts' coordinated roar becomes dangerous and jointly subdue the Golden Core beast, allowing the team to finish the operation. They later escape an encirclement by a Nascent Soul and several Golden Cores, are requisitioned to the Tianling front, and ultimately both die in the war. No distinct face, clothing, age, or physique is described. Du's calm during the unfamiliar Wanlai Island operation and his reliable coordination with Jiang Zhengji support a restrained, battle-tested temperament.
