Angharad

Angharad is a witch of Crymlyn Village who helps the Heroes recover prisoners from a demon-allied cult in the swamp.

Biography

The Crymlyn rescue

Angharad first confronts the disturbing sight of bound kindred entering the village, then accepts Drestra's judgment that something is wrong without obstructing the interrogation. When the resulting intelligence leads to a rescue, he commands a force of Crymlyn witches alongside Hart and Drestra. He helps burn through the underwater gate with acid, confirms the diversion-and-release plan at the prison, and leads the supporting witches inside. After the captives are freed, Angharad takes responsibility for escorting them home so the Heroes can reinforce the larger battle, turning local knowledge and leadership into a successful recovery rather than a simple combat role. (Chapters 369–384)

Appearance and personality

Angharad is a young man from Crymlyn Village. He is initially alarmed by his bound kin but does not challenge Drestra once she says the situation is serious. During the rescue he is practical, composed, and willing to divide responsibility, though he complains when Drestra blasts a gate open close enough to nearly hit his face. (Chapters 377–384)

Magic, abilities, and skills

Angharad swims and navigates through Crymlyn's waterways, coordinates a sizable team, and casts an acid spell around his hands. Working with Drestra and other witches, he applies the lower-tier magic directly to a wooden underwater gate until the group burns a passage wide enough for Hart. No higher spell tier or broader magical specialty is stated. (Chapters 383–384)
