Eamon Thorne is Silver University Tower's professor of spirit manifestation and a covert Araxys cult operative. He cultivates the appearance of a respected colleague while helping select and abduct Imperial Professor candidates for experiments in mental control. Eamon initially functions as a credible academic peer. He questions how Vanitas's foundation circuit handles high-level mana fluctuations, shares Dahlia Voss's newfound respect and rivalry toward its creator, and asks practical questions about the lethal appearance of Vanitas's Fractal Veil examination. He and Dahlia also recognize the student play's connection to Arwen Ainsley's thesis scandal. These interactions let Eamon build ordinary professional trust and familiarity with students, professors, and research candidates while concealing his allegiance and the abandoned cult experiment he intends to continue. During the Imperial Professor screening, Eamon secretly avoids taking the test and waits until the university attack creates a plausible cover.
