Salinger's Blood Banner
Salinger's Blood Banner was the scorched, bloodstained flag-form of Sealed Artifact 0-01, also called Deity's Fallen Banner. It was the Red Priest pathway's Uniqueness after Death Salinger forcibly accommodated it through a tributary of the River of Eternal Darkness, leaving conquest and war fused with decay, death, ruin, and spatial collapse.
History
Salinger's corruption and Morora seal
The historical account says Salinger forcibly accommodated the Red Priest Uniqueness with a River of Eternal Darkness tributary and became half-mad. By the modern era, the resulting banner was sealed as 0-01 beneath Morora, planted in a mountain of corpses and surrounded by military puppets, undead soldiers, and deadly rules. (Chapters 2539 and 2554)
Lumian Lee returned after gaining high-level Calamity support and the resonance of Alista Tudor. He resisted the banner's demand for total submission, used Tudor's face to calm its reactive will, and pulled it from the corpse mountain. That act caused Morora and the mausoleum to collapse toward the flag in distorted space-time. Lumian arrested the catastrophe by embedding the still-partially-sealed banner in the chaos-vortex face on his shoulder and covering it with a dark-gold mask reinforced by starlight. (Chapter 2555)
Weapon against Cheek and accommodation
In the special mirror world, Lumian removed the banner from his vortex forehead and swung it at Primordial Demoness Cheek. It amplified Conqueror power into intelligent flame soldiers that inherited his abilities. Its bloodstains recovered their color and released conquest severe enough to make even a deity pause. Lumian then used it as the medium or vessel for the Sword of Destruction during the continuing divine battle. (Chapters 2564, 2568, and 2570)
After Cheek's defeat and the gathering of the Red Priest pathway's three Sequence 1 characteristics, Lumian drove 0-01 fully into the Tudor face and accommodated the Uniqueness. The banner form remained available as part of his body and under his control, but it was no longer an independent Sealed Artifact. (Chapters 2572 and 2576)
Abilities and properties
- Unsealed exposure imposed terror, awe, worship, and compulsory submission on mind, body, and soul. Yielding would turn the victim into 0-01's will-less puppet. High status, City of Calamity support, and Tudor resonance were necessary for Lumian to resist. (Chapter 2555)
- Contact brought decay, ruin, death, and eternal slumber. Pulling it from its seal made Morora and the underground mausoleum collapse into chaotic space-time, a mutation explicitly attributed to River of Eternal Darkness corruption of the Red Priest Uniqueness. (Chapter 2555)
- As a Conqueror artifact, it animated or commanded soldiers and amplified the conversion of lifeless matter into intelligent troops. Lumian's flame soldiers shared his spirituality, power, and abilities such as Teleportation. (Chapter 2564)
- Its conquest aura could force even deity-level hesitation or submission, but Cheek's chaos authority absorbed the first wave of flames and soldiers. This demonstrates immense pressure rather than unconditional victory. (Chapter 2564)
- It served as a medium for Lumian's Sword of Destruction, including a strike bearing River of Eternal Darkness corruption. After accommodation, he could suppress its godhood so observers would not lose control merely by seeing the charred flag. (Chapters 2568, 2570, and 2576)
