Xu Xinyang

Biography

Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse

Xu Xinyang was the leader of Security Team 2 in Klein's dream city and became Lumian's immediate workplace supervisor after “Li Keji” joined the Intis Group. Xu assigned the newcomer ordinary guard duties and later organized a hospital visit for colleagues injured by lightning, offering Lumian a legitimate route into Mushu Hospital during the investigation (Chapters 2374–2382)

At the hospital, Xu reassured the injured workers' families that the company would recognize the incident as work-related and provide compensation. He then held a team dinner intended to welcome and discipline the newcomer through heavy drinking, only for Lumian to outdrink the group. Xu knew practical details of the company but, like even more suspicious dream figures, could not identify Mushu Hospital's dean, limiting his usefulness to the surface logic of the dream city (Chapters 2382–2426)

Appearance and personality

Xu is a burly man with a square face and heavily tanned skin. He is sociable, managerial, and attentive to workplace hierarchy, mixing genuine concern for injured subordinates with hazing, drinking culture, and indirect reprimands.

Pathways and abilities

Xu Xinyang displays no Beyonder pathway or supernatural ability. He is a manifestation inside Klein's dream city; the corpus does not identify an independent waking-world person corresponding to him. His authority is organizational and remains bounded by the dream city's ordinary workplace rules.
