Vijepan

Biography

Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse

Vijepan was exiled to Morora alongside Lumian and other serious offenders. Rather than seeking reform or escape, he reacted eagerly to the city's legal-duel rules and asked whether he could do anything to an opponent without punishment, revealing that he viewed Morora as an opportunity to continue his violence under formal cover (Chapters 2224–2226)

Vijepan provoked a duel with Julie and was decisively defeated. She severed his hands and feet, castrated him, and left his drenched corpse beneath an obelisk. An observer judged from the brief fight that Vijepan was probably not a Beyonder, while Lumian concluded that Julie's knife skills and later behavior were supernatural (Chapters 2230–2240)

Appearance and personality

Vijepan is described chiefly through a sullen, gloomy demeanor. He is predatory, resentful, and openly excited by any legal framework that might permit assault without punishment.

Pathways and abilities

Vijepan is most likely an ordinary human. He managed to block several of Julie's strikes, showing some fighting ability, but the corpus explicitly treats the brief resistance as evidence that he probably was not a Beyonder. No pathway power or mystical item is demonstrated.
