Richardson
Biography
Life in Klein's Era
Richardson entered Dwayne Dantès's household as a good-looking mixed-blood valet with little confidence in his experience. The dangers surrounding his former associates initially made him consider leaving, but Dwayne's observation that everyone begins without experience forced him to choose between fear and a chance to advance. Once the immediate threat had passed, Richardson decided to stay, work, and pursue the long-term goal of becoming a butler rather than allowing one troubled beginning to ruin his servant's record (Chapters 748–764).
He learned the work steadily, accompanying Dwayne to church, social calls, lessons, and public events. The arrival of Enuni as a new valet made him fear replacement, but Dwayne instead promoted him to Walter's assistant. Richardson's increased responsibility culminated in his service as land steward at Maygur Manor, where he opened Qonas Kilgor's apparently empty guest room and helped manage the response to the disappearance. He remained alive and had achieved a meaningful step toward the career he wanted (Chapters 975, 979, 1031).
Appearance and personality
Richardson is a handsome mixed-blood young man. The corpus emphasizes his deferential posture, habitual lowered gaze, and the pallor that revealed anxiety when his position seemed threatened more than it provides a detailed catalog of his features. He is quiet, cautious, ambitious in a practical way, and capable of absorbing instruction. His courage is modest but real: he stays, learns, and accepts responsibility after initially wanting a peaceful escape (Chapters 748–764, 975).
Pathways and abilities
Richardson is an ordinary human. His demonstrated abilities are those of a developing professional servant: dressing an employer, remembering protocol, observing household circumstances, and managing estate access. No potion, Sequence, mystical sense, or supernatural combat ability is established (Chapters 748–1031).
