Nim

Biography

Life in Klein's Era

Nim led Moon City after generations of isolation beside the grayish-white fog. He cautiously questioned Gehrman Sparrow, tested the cleansed hunters, imposed quarantine, and let residents decide whether to approach the missionary rather than demanding blind faith. After witnessing healing, safe food, and the fog’s response, he accepted that this was Moon City’s long-awaited rescue and organized successive pilgrimages without abandoning defensive discipline (Chapters 1212–1220)

Nim converted Moon City to The Fool, became the new Church’s priest, and disclosed the city’s demigods and Sealed Artifacts to its oracle. When divine revelation finally ordered evacuation, he calmly assembled every resident, led their prayers, and coordinated the transfer through the City of Silver into the world of light. He survived as Moon City’s recognized leader after completing his people’s ancient duty (Chapters 1226–1227, 1299)

Appearance and personality

Nim is an elderly man with long gray-white hair and gray eyes, wrapped in dark-brown beast hide. Accumulated monster toxins sometimes make black hair and swollen mutations erupt across his body. He is cautious, orderly, humble before credible miracles, and protective enough to balance hope against quarantine and verification.

Pathways and abilities

Nim is a Sequence 4 Nightwatcher of the Evernight pathway. He can travel through illusory doors, wield demigod spirituality, perceive environmental changes, and use the pathway’s concealment, dream, and darkness-related abilities, though the corpus does not display his full repertoire. Lacking the acting method and forced to eat corrupted monsters, he carries severe madness and toxins that require continual resistance.
