Mad Lady
Mad Lady is an April Fool’s member whose real identity is not established in the supplied corpus. She took part in the Port Santa operations and was notorious even among her partners for increasingly uncontrolled insanity. (Chapters 1810, 1828, and 2011)
Biography
Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse
Mad Lady joined Bard and Ultraman in the first Port Santa disruption, serving as a deputy host and helping replace the ceremonial ring. She and Ultraman also visited Cordu after its destruction to confirm the outcome of the prank against Muggle, treating the catastrophe as entertainment. (Chapters 1828, 2005, and 2025)
During the second operation she boarded the betrothal ship in a blood-colored dress, opened the spaceship’s energy passageway, and repeatedly teleported to draw Lumian and Mr. K away from the silver ring meant to distribute the erupting power. Her manic pursuit of danger frustrated even Ultraman, but Lumian’s temporary Governor of the Sea authority restricted her movement and the battle carried her into the spaceship. (Chapters 2011–2013 and 2023)
Mad Lady was killed inside the spaceship, leaving two corpse sections and a severely corrupted Traveler characteristic. Lumian later offered the remains to Ludwig for information, but Ludwig judged them too corrupted to eat, so Lumian burned them to ash. (Chapters 2023, 2027, and 2029)
Appearance and personality
At gatherings she covered her face in red, yellow, and white clown paint. At sea she was a little over 1.6 meters tall, with disheveled dark-blond hair and parts of her face reduced to exposed flesh beneath a flamboyant blood-colored dress; she was thrill-seeking, cruel, and so unstable that earlier psychiatric treatment had only barely preserved her rationality. (Chapters 1809 and 2011–2012)
Pathways and abilities
Her corpse produced a corrupted Sequence 5 Traveler characteristic, confirming her Door-pathway level. She uses rapid teleportation and Spirit World Traversal in battle; flesh manipulation, disguise, underwater adaptation, and the one-use theft in the same operation came from carried items rather than being established as her innate powers. (Chapters 2012–2013 and 2027)
Relationships
- Ultraman: Her principal combat partner at Port Santa, though her love of chaos repeatedly undermined his instructions. (Chapters 2011–2013)
- Bard: Bard helped plan the operation and supplied the silver ancestral ring she carried. (Chapters 2005 and 2011)
- Hisoka: Bard says Mad Lady was one of the few people with whom the otherwise solitary Hisoka regularly cooperated. (Chapter 2026)
Items
Mad Lady carried Blood Gold for Rose Bishop-like flesh control, Bard’s semi-finished Ring of the Sea Queen, a Faceless-aligned cloth doll, and a Sailor-pathway brooch for underwater survival and electrical strikes. Each had serious drawbacks, and the corpus explicitly treats these effects as item-derived. (Chapters 2011 and 2027)
