Life in Klein's Era
Lorotta traveled from Backlund with Aiur Harson and Borgia to escort Sealed Artifact 2-049 and contain the Antigonus notebook crisis. When the suited clown and Ray Bieber attacked, she combined gunfire with a Gravedigger’s physical strength, closed the distance aggressively, and helped keep the enemy occupied while Klein and the other Nighthawks adapted to the battlefield (Chapters 71–74)
The corrupted notebook’s power knocked Lorotta unconscious and left her more seriously injured than several companions, but she survived and assisted with the aftermath. Once recovered enough to travel, she escorted 2-049 and the notebook back to Backlund as ordered. The corpus records no later death (Chapters 75–80)
Appearance and personality
Lorotta is a black-haired woman and master sharpshooter with a relaxed, slightly irreverent manner. She chuckles easily, yawns through discussions while injured, and looks for coffee after the crisis, but becomes direct and physically fearless once combat begins.
Pathways and abilities
Lorotta is a Sequence 8 Gravedigger of the Death pathway. She has enhanced strength, speed, coordination, bodily resilience, and sensitivity to corpses and death-related environments. Her firearms expertise complements those traits, but she remains vulnerable to the notebook’s wide-area corruption and requires treatment after the battle.
