Horamick Haydn is a Backlund archbishop of the Church of Steam and Machinery, a Divine Council member, and a senior Machinery Hivemind leader. He uses mechanical proxies and cautious command to investigate threats without needlessly exposing his true body or subordinates.

Biography

Encounters Across Both Eras

Horamick first appears as the high-ranking cleric consulted about sensitive Church matters. During the investigation connected to Amon's mausoleum, he identifies the danger around the Specter Portrait Frame and sends a mechanical duplicate into the site. The proxy's destruction costs him machinery rather than his life, demonstrating a leadership style built around preparation and controlled exposure. (Chapters 324, 446–448)

He later convenes Machinery Hivemind deliberations after the Great Smog and coordinates with other churches and demigods during Backlund's escalating crises. In the later era he still leads field operations; when an underground hall collapses during the Project Vortex conflict, he orders withdrawal rather than pursuing a reckless attack on Claude, preserving the force for a viable response.
