Hilbert
Biography
Life in Klein's Era
Hilbert Alucard entered Audrey Hall's social circle as a psychologist, jewelry designer, and supposed mysticism expert. Together with Escalante and Stephen Hampres, he tested Audrey's intentions through mind-affecting questions, accepted her into the Psychology Alchemists, supplied her Telepathist potion, and explained the organization's origins and study of the collective subconscious (Chapters 339–418)
As Audrey advanced, Hilbert remained one of the cell's senior intermediaries, involved in evaluating whether she could meet a councilor. After Hvin Rambis's death, Audrey preserved contact with the Psychology Alchemists through Hilbert, Stephen, and Escalante, but the Backlund war eventually severed those channels and left Hilbert's fate unconfirmed (Chapters 970–1317)
Appearance and personality
Hilbert is a man in his forties with brown skin reflecting Southern Continent ancestry, brown hair, blue eyes, and otherwise unremarkable features. He appears silent, reserved, observant, and professionally courteous, maintaining composure even when Audrey's answers surprise his companions.
Pathways and abilities
Hilbert belongs to the Spectator pathway. He demonstrates observation, thought reading, mental inducement, and a candle-assisted interrogation in which his eyes become golden with vertical pupils. The corpus does not explicitly state his Sequence, so these techniques should not be used to assign a more precise rank.
