Hibbert Hall

Biography

Life in Klein's Era

Hibbert was Earl Hall's eldest son and built the political career expected of the family's heir. As chief secretary of the National Atmospheric Pollution Council, he worked with industrialists, journalists, and Parliament to turn smoke pollution into a public-policy issue. He preferred the professional title “Mr. Chief Secretary” to aristocratic display, using government service to accumulate the experience and networks needed for a future seat in the House of Lords (Chapters 310–367, 760)

He later became a cabinet secretary and continued helping manage Hall family public affairs. Although he and Alfred had once differed, they returned to friendly hunting rivalry and shared family responsibility. During the estate's supernatural crisis, Hibbert woke later than the battle-tested Alfred but survived with the household. He remained alive and politically engaged at the end of the era (Chapters 859–865, 1061, 1189–1393)

Appearance and personality

Hibbert is a blond man whose handsome, classically sculpted appearance and formal valet-assisted dress mark him as a high noble. He is educated, politically ambitious, socially confident, and sometimes amused by scandal. His ambition follows institutional channels rather than military adventure, and he defends Audrey's charitable work when others minimize it (Chapters 467, 760, 865, 1336)

Pathways and abilities

Hibbert is an ordinary human. His demonstrated abilities are administration, lobbying, public-opinion strategy, and elite social networking. The corpus establishes no potion, Sequence, supernatural ability, or mystical combat training for him (Chapters 310–367, 760–865)
