Haim

Haim is a City of Silver exploration-team member who advances to Dawn Paladin. His discipline and physical strength make him a dependable custodian of dangerous artifacts during expeditions with Derrick Berg and Chief Colin Iliad.

Biography

Life in Klein's Era

Haim joins Colin's expedition to the abandoned temple and, with Joshua, receives orders to watch Derrick after the group encounters a disturbing sign connected to Amon. He obeys the Chief and keeps formation instead of treating Derrick as an enemy on suspicion alone, beginning a recurring partnership among the three younger explorers. (Chapters 466–467)

After advancing to Sequence 6, Haim accompanies Derrick and Joshua into Afternoon Town. When supernatural interference separates and confuses the group, he follows the emergency signal, holds position, and waits for rescue rather than running blindly. His response helps the team survive an environment designed to exploit panic and false perceptions. (Chapters 666–671)

On the expedition toward the Giant King's Court, Haim carries Thunder God's Roar and repeatedly exchanges it with the Unshadowed Crucifix so Derrick can manage the artifacts' incompatibility. He endures the crucifix's emotional pressure, guards the doorway beside Colin, and remains useful through the escape, even producing spare clothing for the transformed Chief. He is steady, obedient to field commands, and slow to make unsupported accusations, with the practical endurance needed to carry massive weapons and hazardous artifacts.
