Flores
Biography
Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse
Flores met Pedro's daughter Salah in Feynapotter City and became her fiancé after covertly using what he believed was a love incantation. The incantation came from an old notebook associated with the Demon Naboredisley. Flores knew repeated use carried consequences, yet his desire overcame caution and he attempted it again on Franca, allowing Lumian and Franca to trace the abnormality back to him (Chapters 2047–2049)
Naboredisley then possessed Flores and used his body to propose a transaction. Lumian invoked The Fool in an exorcism ritual, driving the Demon out and breaking Salah's unnatural infatuation. Moments later, an illusory black liquid corroded Flores's flesh and bones until he died, demonstrating that the apparent gift had always been a predatory bargain rather than Flores's own power (Chapters 2050–2052)
Appearance and personality
Flores wears a floral shirt and presents himself with enough confidence to pursue attractive women, but his conduct is obsessive and invasive. He is opportunistic, desirous, and willing to ignore known danger when the supposed love incantation promises control over another person.
Pathways and abilities
Flores is not shown to be a Beyonder. The love compulsion, possession, corruptive speech, and lethal backlash originate from Naboredisley and the Demon-linked notebook. Flores supplies a target's personal medium and repeats the true name, but that ritual dependence does not make the effect his innate ability.
