Fidel

Fidel Guerra was a wealthy Port Farim merchant whose legitimate prominence concealed the acquisition of mysticism materials and a symbiotic arrangement with the Demon Warlock Burman. The protection he obtained from that partnership eventually became the means of his family's destruction. (Chapters 1950–1956)

Biography

Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse

Fidel commissioned Lumian Lee to kill the Black Baronet Class Khizi, offering information and a Colorful Bearded Horned Lizard venom transaction as part of the bargain. He wanted both profit and a public deterrent against anyone who stole goods tied to his clandestine trade. (Chapters 1950–1952)

Fidel secretly supplied Burman with resources and materials in exchange for covert protection. When Lumian's maneuvering inflamed distrust between them, Fidel tried to restrain the increasingly unstable warlock, but Burman massacred Fidel, his family, and his servants and likely took the characteristic that failed to appear among the remains. (Chapters 1953–1956 and 1962)

Appearance and personality

Fidel dressed as a prosperous merchant in a white shirt and brown vest, lived in an opulent residence, and bore some Feynapotter facial traits. He was calculating, profit-conscious, and willing to threaten through exemplary violence, yet he badly underestimated the danger of relying on Burman's madness. (Chapters 1950–1953)
