Cecile

Cecile is an experienced female bodyguard and comrade of Cleves who protects Donna and her family during their voyage on the White Agate. (Chapters 493–494 and 504)

Biography

Life in Klein's Era

Cecile helped Cleves supervise Donna and Denton during a nighttime hunt, carrying a rifle and responding carefully to danger on deck. She shared practical knowledge of sea legends, pirate bounties, and the King of the Five Seas, marking her as more than a household attendant. (Chapters 493–497 and 505)

At Bansy Harbor, Cecile remained beside the children as the weather and townspeople turned abnormal. She rushed to Donna, helped escort the family from the restaurant, stood guard with Cleves and Teague, and survived the supernatural wind that scattered the group before they escaped back toward the White Agate. (Chapters 504 and 507–511)

Appearance and personality

The corpus identifies Cecile primarily through her trained movement, rifle, and role rather than a detailed portrait. She is vigilant, practical, protective of children, and knowledgeable about maritime dangers, though she can still be surprised by true supernatural anomalies. (Chapters 493–505 and 507–511)

Pathways and abilities

No Beyonder pathway is established for Cecile. She has firearms training, bodyguard discipline, quick reactions, and extensive sea-adventurer knowledge, but she cannot counter Bansy's supernatural forces directly. (Chapters 494, 504–505, and 507–511)

Relationships

Cleves is Cecile's experienced comrade and field leader, while Teague shares guard duty with them. Donna and Denton are her young charges, and Cecile repeatedly places herself between them and danger. (Chapters 493–511)

Items

Cecile uses an ordinary rifle as her principal weapon; no named mystical item is associated with her. (Chapter 494)
