Biography

Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse

Ava Lizier was a young Cordu villager who tended her family's geese and took part enthusiastically in local celebrations. She hoped to be chosen as the Spring Elf during Lent and received that coveted role, drawing her more deeply into a festival whose harmless appearance concealed the village's corruption. Lumian's investigation showed that the celebration and its participants were being maneuvered toward sacrifice (Chapters 1439–1474, 1495–1503)

In the original course of events before Cordu's time loop, Pierre Berry beheaded Ava as part of the Lent ritual. The loop recreated her living presence during Lumian's repeated days, but it did not undo the completed sacrifice outside the cycle. Later encounters and memories clarified that the lively girl Lumian spoke with was a temporary repetition of someone already dead (Chapters 1513, 1530, 1634, 1971)

Appearance and personality

Ava is a youthful girl with brown hair and clear aqua-blue eyes. She is lively, sociable, proud of being selected as the Spring Elf, and still occupied with ordinary village responsibilities such as tending geese. Her cheerful investment in Cordu's traditions makes the hidden violence of the Lent ritual especially stark (Chapters 1439–1465)

Pathways and abilities

Ava is an ordinary human with no confirmed potion, Sequence, or supernatural ability. Her reappearances during the Cordu cycle result from the village-wide time loop rather than a power she possesses or controls (Chapters 1462–1530)
