Luo Ruoxin's Pendant

Luo Ruoxin's Pendant is a crystal-like crimson protective artifact that Luo Ruoxin insists Zhang Xuan carry into the Temple of Confucius. Its interior contains a droplet of her father's blood, not Luo Ruoxin's own blood, explaining both its resemblance to her aura and its superior restorative authority. (Chapters 1,698, 2,264)

History

A safeguard entrusted to Zhang Xuan

Luo gives Zhang the pendant as protection against Ancient Sage threats in the Temple and asks him to keep it close. It later heats in response to concentrated God blood, disrupts the Hall of Gods' attempt to drain or transfer Zhang's power, and repels a hostile silhouette trying to seize it. Zhang briefly hands it over for inspection but repeatedly recovers and continues wearing it. (Chapters 1,698–1,699, 1,782, 2,041–2,093)

Recognition and final sacrifice

The Deathless Monarch recognizes the pendant's blood and changes its attitude toward Zhang, foreshadowing Luo's revelation that her father once tamed the monarch. The pendant subsequently calms Zhang's Pathos of Heaven instability. During the final battle, Zhang combines the restorative blood with Vicious's soul-severing malignant energy: the pendant breaks, the blood ignites the Deathless Monarch's Quintessence, and Zhang resurrects after cutting the Library of Heaven's Path away from his soul. Abilities and properties

The pendant reacts with heat to divine blood, emits light and force against hostile possession or transfer, calms chaotic energy and the Library's influence, and carries resurrection-grade restorative power through its stored blood. Its effects derive from Luo Ruoxin's father and the Deathless Monarch connection rather than from an ordinary defensive formation. The final resurrection expends both the pendant and its blood.
