Zhang Chun

Zhang Chun is a Zhang Clan prodigy studying at the Sanctum of Sages. Rumors name him as a possible substitute groom if the clan's missing young prodigy fails to marry Luo Ruoxin, placing him in conflict with Luo Xuanqing and Zhang Xuan. (Chapters 1,351–1,356)

Biography

Rivalry at the Sanctum

Zhang Chun's interest in Luo Ruoxin and status as a possible marriage candidate make him a repeated opponent of Luo Xuanqing. When he and four allies suppress their cultivation to confront Zhang Xuan, they expect clan pedigree and coordinated strength to prevail, but Zhang Xuan defeats them decisively. Chun seeks information for revenge, then learns that the young man is supposedly Yang Xuan's disciple and recognizes the danger of pressing the feud. He thereafter supplies resources that Zhang Xuan later carries into cultivation, leaving Chun alive but thoroughly checked as a rival. (Chapters 1,351–1,370, 1,384, and 1,411–1,415)
