Xiao arrives believing Hongyuan students beneath combat masters and challenges them at equal cultivation. Even after binding supposed advantages and switching seamlessly between vicious claw and hand arts, he loses because ordinary faction members can read his flaws and predict each transition. Rather than dismiss the humiliation, Xiao recognizes the training's value, asks nervously to join the Xuanxuan Faction, and receives a corrected technique.
