Wu Ran

Wu Ran is a 7-star master teacher from Qingzhu Empire who manages the Saint Ascension Circle and leads a master teacher academy. He first appears conducting a lecture at the Saint Ascension Platform before joining the inter-academy expedition into an ancient domain. (Chapters 835 and 924–942)

Biography

Teacher and expedition elder

Wu Ran welcomes younger cultivators to the Saint Ascension Circle without insisting on ceremony, then later evaluates the candidates sent by several academies to the Combat Master selection. He recognizes both the qualities and limitations of those candidates and openly credits Zhang Xuan's exceptional teaching. Inside the ancient domain, corrosive pressure and hostile formations wear down the expedition. When escape appears impossible, Wu Ran offers his life so that Zhang Xuan and the strongest surviving leaders can continue and avenge the dead, demonstrating that his public ideals extend to personal sacrifice.
