Violetwing Beast

Violetwing Beast is a swift aerial spirit beast associated with the dying Draconic Granite Beast before becoming Zhang Xuan's tamed mount. Its ability to cross the distance to Hongyuan Empire in roughly ten days makes it strategically valuable beyond combat. (Chapters 686–704)

Biography

A messenger and mount

The beast enters the story through Beast Tamer Han's search for the final words of the Draconic Granite Beast. Zhang Xuan's command of Ancient Beast Language resolves that old uncertainty and brings the Violetwing Beast into his traveling party. It carries Zhang Xuan, Sun Qiang, Luo Qiqi, and others across the Huanyu and Hongyuan regions, then performs practical errands such as helping Sun Qiang bring the unconscious Wei Ruyan for treatment. Its later role remains transport and support rather than an independent political actor. (Chapters 686–708, 738–758, and 792–851)

Appearance and personality

It is a large, winged spirit beast built for sustained high-altitude flight. The corpus emphasizes responsiveness and coordination with its master more than an individualized speaking personality. (Chapters 692, 702–704, and 738)

Abilities and cultivation

At introduction it is a Half-Transcendent Mortal 9-dan aerial beast more than two centuries old. Its chief advantage is speed and endurance over long distances; it is not presented as stronger than the later saint beasts surrounding Zhang Xuan. (Chapters 686–702, 721, 738, and 851)
