Biography
Ancient Sage and enduring counselor
Bo Shang's name first appears through the ancient inheritance and institutions that shape the Sanctum, connecting present students to Kong shi's earliest disciples. Unlike a purely historical founder, he later appears alive in the Firmament alongside Ancient Sage Zi Yuan and the other surviving members of that circle. During the God Monarch conflict, he counsels that Zhang Xuan remain away from a battle where his intervention seems unlikely to help. (Chapters 1,287–1,290 and 2,231)
